The race will include a fun race, a 5 and 10 km race to ensure that all people can participate, regardless of their ability. Werner Park is a unique outdoor venue that is home to Union Omaha and the Omaha Storm Chasers, the Triple A subsidiary of the Kansas City Royals. Paging is only available in cases of extreme emergency and at the discretion of Union Omaha management. Ladies of the Evening is a group of women from the Omaha Running Club who share a common interest in running and walking. The University of Nebraska Medical Center's MAHA (Multiple Sclerosis at Home Access) program will host the first edition of the “MS Strong” race, and the proceeds will be used to directly empower people living with multiple sclerosis and other demyelinating diseases with disabilities in our community. Finally, One in Eight American Men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime, and funds raised are invested across the country to research new treatments, provide free tests for prostate cancer, support patients emotionally and financially, and educate men and their families about prostate cancer.
